In this episode Ron chats with Brad Newland, CEO and Co-Founder of Goldfinch Health. Here, Brad does a deep dive in to the work of Goldfinch Health and its mission to help patients better navigate surgery and recovery, saving healthcare costs, minimize opioid use, and help them return to normal life and work faster. He discusses the opioid crisis, the dangers of opioid addiction, and how opioids can often be avoided in surgery recovery altogether. He also talks about how they work with payers, insurers, employers, workers compensation, and patients to provide better outcomes at lower costs.
